The Albert & Miaad Bushala Event Center at OCSA

Investing in the Future of the Arts

A Space for Creativity, Community, and Performance

Located inside the Center for the Arts complex at the Orange County School of the Arts campus in downtown Santa Ana, the Albert & Miaad Bushala Event Center serves as a dynamic gathering space for students, artists, educators, and the broader community. The Event Center is one of several spaces supported through the Bushala family’s $1 million contribution to OCSA’s Students First: A Capital Campaign, an initiative designed to enhance campus spaces where students can gather, collaborate, perform, and connect.

The multipurpose venue reflects the Bushala family’s longstanding commitment to arts education and creative opportunity. Along with other named spaces throughout the Center for the Arts complex, these investments support OCSA’s mission of nurturing young artists and future creative leaders. Designed to host performances, special events, showcases, and collaborative programming, the spaces help create an environment where students can thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

For the Bushala family, supporting OCSA represents an investment in the transformative power of the arts, and in the next generation of storytellers, performers, musicians, and innovators emerging from Orange County. Their connection to the school is deeply personal, as both Albert G. Bushala and Miaad M. Bushala attended OCSA’s Popular Music Conservatory, where Albert G. studied as a drummer and Miaad M. as a vocalist. Through their support, the family hopes to help create opportunities for future students to learn, grow, and pursue their passions through arts education.
